So the new poll is up. Yup, its a list of scientists. Pick your favorite (or which you think is most important.) I apologize for not having as many female scientists, but sadly most are not as well known as men. Also an apology to all social scientists out there.
I was going to do a poll on volleyball, but I didn't think many people would know the differences between a 4-2, 5-1, or 6-2. (The numbers deal with the number of hitters and setters.) Personally, I find 6-2's extremely exciting. If you have a favorite volleyball line up, let me know.

Mendel all the way, baby!
I wonder, if Mendel played volleyball, would he have been a strong side hitter, setter, middle blocker, or back row passer?
Where's Bill Nye The Science Guy!?
Sadly, some individuals had to be left off. Namely, Bill Nye & Mr. Wizard.
OK, so I understand a 5-1 and a 4-2, but what's a 6-2 because aren't there only 6 players on a volleyball court at one time.
I agree...where's Bill Nye, the Science Guy? His eco-friendly home is much better than Ed Begley Jr.'s.
Madam Curie was the first female scientist that I ever did a school report on. And I thought she was so cool!!!!!
Perhaps your next poll should be "Who is your favorite pop culture scientist?" Then I would have write in Dr. Sanjay Gupta from CNN.
Not to mention Dr. Seuss, who was probably an astrophysicist...
