Well, it's been over a week since my last post. Sorry folks, just plain busy. Had mid-term reports due Monday, then I had a some students making up a chem lab after school. Not really enough time to spend communicating with all y'all.
Yesterday might have been the best day of evening programming. Yup, that's right, The Amazing Race premiered last night. Yippee!!!!
It was quite an incredible two hours. I just love trying to figure out who's going to make it, and who's not. This season is even more interesting by making families (4 people, instead of 2) compete. Most of the families are parents and adult children, but some families are competing with young children.
Here's the problem my wife and I have though. Every time we pick our favorites (either to win, or just sentimental) they lose. Just last night, I picked my sentimental favorite, and they go and lose. I guess I'm just watching too much Celebrity Poker on Bravo and Phil and Dave are rubbing off on me (everyone of their favorites usually loses too.)
So far, on the Race, they have been cruising around NYC and parts of PA.
So, lets hear it for the best Reality Show on TV, although Biggest Loser, the Apprentice (not that fake M. Stewart version), and Survivor are all quite awesome in their own aspect.
Just a side note, I'm finding Survivor very interesting this season, but not because of the contestants (although I'd love for Stephanie to win it this season.) I think the best part of the show this season is the fact that they are in Guatemala, in/near one of the Maya Ruins. I'm always more than interested to see and learn more about some of my family's origins.
