Well, it's snowing, alot. I guess we are supposed to have up to 7 inches of snow when we wake up tomorrow morning. Although I won't be driving in a lot of snow (it's melting quite a bit), I will be driving in inches of slush. I would much rather drive on snow.
The dog seems interested in the snow. He really doesn't know what to think of it. He is very timid when it's falling from the sky, but absolutely loves to eat it. I sure hope he stays away from the yellow snow.
The Amazing Race is on, right now. I can't believe how much some of these families yell at each other. My only guess is that they have many people in their family that are deaf. (Maybe they went deaf so they wouldn't have to hear all the yelling.)
I found a really good review of Serenity today. (By good, I mean well written, although it is a very positive review of the movie). It was written by Orson Scott Card. Some of his personal views can be quite conservative, but I always have enjoyed his science fiction writing. The reason that I point out this review, is that it quite accurately describes why I feel Serenity (and most of Joss Whedon's works), deserve the praise and why they should be embraced by many people.
So, other than spiffing up this blog a bit today, I have done something I wanted to do for some time. Rather than boring all of you with my school comments and happenings, I have created a second blog. The second blog will only be about my day at school or school related topics. Cleverly titled Glacierman Daze, it can be found at v-ischeduledaze.blogspot.com, or clicking anyone of the two links in this post, or the link to the right. For those of you interested in reading about the everyday life of a rural science teacher, check it out. But don't worry, I will still be posting to this blog about anything not school related.
So, check out my new blog to see what I do at school. Otherwise I'm writing you up, and that means detention!
