I was really worried there for a second, but the LA Angels (it should still be Anaheim Angels) managed to beat those Yankees, and after a Game 1 win against the ChiSox, they might be on their way to winning another World Series.
Other than getting home late from work these days, not much is going on. Two days ago, the shower decided that we needed less water pressure during our bathing experience, and hopefully today, I will have fixed it. (O.k., so it's fixed now, but I didn't have any teflon/plumber's tape, so there is a bit of leakage.) If the leaking doesn't stop, I may have to replace the shower head.
Presently, at our house, there is one NEW TV show that we absolutely love. Yup, you guessed it, it's "How I met your mother." It's a very interesting premise of a dad, telling stories to his two teenage children, about how he met their mother. Funny thing is, after several episodes, he hasn't met her yet. O.k., sounds lame right, well it very well could have been, except for one thing, Neil Patrick Harris. Yup, that's right, Doogie Howser is in the show. And man is he funny. He plays one of those guys we all know (and yes, love.) The guy that really doesn't want or know how to have a committed relationship. Alyson Hannigan (of Buffy and American Pie) is in the show, and plays a very similar role to BtVS and AP. But really for me, it's Neil Patrick Harris that steals the show. So, SUIT UP!
Also, there has been much discussion at our house about the current season of the Amazing Race. I don't really have any one team I'm root for, but their are a few I really don't like. (Actually, not so much the teams, but some of those punk kids the parents have brought along.) It looks like most of the race will be primarily in the USA. If they do get out of the country, I wonder where it will be to. Seeing as how it is mostly in the USA, wouldn't it be neat if they went to Glacier National Park or Yellowstone National Park. I think anything to show off Montana would be very cool.
