It has been unusually nice the last few days with temperatures up in the mid-70's. Very nice. Because of the nice weather, I was able to do a few things around the yard, like deal with all the darn leaves. Also, I was able to clean the air conditioner and several other things around the yard. The weather is supposed to remain pleasant the rest of the week, with Thursday and Friday cooling off just a bit.
I really don't know what my wife and I are going to do after the World Series. Any of our available free time seems to be spent watching and talking about baseball. Perhaps, if football were any better (let's not even start with discussing that mess), we would switch gears when the baseball season ended. But until then, lets just enjoy the NLCS and World Series.
We are not big NL fans, and we really only root for the White Sox when the play against the Yankees. However, both of us have been really enjoying the NLCS. Both of us are actively rooting for the Astros to make it to their first World Series. Last night, the White Sox made it into the World Series. It will be their first trip to this big dance since like 1959 or so. Should it be the Astros vs. the White Sox, I know both my wife and I will be root for the Astros. However, both of us would not be extremely disappointed if the White Sox do win the World Series. (However, if they do win, the Cubs MUST absolutely win it next year, that way we can do away with ALL these curses running around.)
Well, we were supposed to do our monthly shopping this past Saturday. The problem was though, my pay check was never deposited, so no money for us. boo hoo. When I got to school today, I was informed that anybody that had their pay check directly deposited into their accounts didn't get paid. (My wife and I were under the assumption all weekend that the bank was at fault.) So, hopefully today there will be money in the account. The nice thing about the mix up though, if people did overdraft their accounts under the assumption they had money in it, the school will reimburse people for any overdraft fees .

I feel you with respect to football this year. And with baseball. I'm distressed that I may have to root for the White Sox this year.
Time to start watching T-Wolves games...
Definitely time to start watching T-wolves. Really bummed though, T-wolves play tomorrow (Thursday) in Billings, and I'm going to be out of town.
