Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!!!

Well, it has now been a little over 24 hours since Santana has joined the household. So, the last 24 hours have included:

• 3 minor accidents involving the bladder
• 1 minor accident involving poo
• Lots of swats from the cat (some deserved, most not)
• Light sleep for all last night
• A good nap for the wife and the dog this afternoon
• lots of running around the block and house
• Learning how to play fetch (and does it moderately well after 15 minutes of practice)
• Lots of smelling around
• Some nipping, but squashed early

So, now for the bad news. It looks like this summer's Flathead Cherry crop has been pretty badly damaged, and this just upsets the wife terribly. (Although, it upsets me, at least its not the huckleberry crop.)

So other than working on housebreaking the dog, we are just working and playing with the puppy. [O.k., so I'm trying to figure out how to use my new video camera. My goal, record something really funny by either the cat and/or dog, and submit it to Animal Planet's - Planet's Funniest Animals. If they pick our video to show, we get a free shirt (blah) and one hundred buckeroos (Yeee Haww!).]

Well, I will try to post a picture of the new family sometime in the near future. I just have to figure out how to do it.

On a last note, Six more days until the release of Star Wars: Episode III - The Revenge of the Sith. Oh, boy! I can't wait. Just looks awesome.
