Red rover, red rover, send Santana over

Not much excitement today. We went to Wal-mart to finish our monthly shopping. Picked up a few more supplies for Santana.

I finished cutting the lawn today, making it more puppy accesible. It took quite some time to cut the entire lawn, possibly 4 hours, including yesterday. It was extremely difficult due to all the moisture we've had in the past 3 weeks. Some of the weeds were quite tall.

After I finished the lawn, I set up a Santana's new "run-line". It extends from the shed to the fence. It will allow Santana to run about 30 feet or so. Better than being on a leash.

Also, the wife and I have discussed what Santana's official AKC name will be. I believe it will be Santana Augustus Yates (SAY for short).

The cat and dog get along just fine. As you can tell from the picture below, they actually do sit in close proximity to each other.

On another note, we watched the Twins game on TV (as we do most every day they play.) How can an old Kenny Rogers beat us? I mean, he's old. Silva Pitched pretty well, especially if you exclude the 5th inning. Lew Ford had many solid plays in center field. Of course, Lew is my favorite, so I can't dis him. I just wish our hitting was doing better.

Well, it's late. I probably won't post tomorrow. If I do, it will probably just be pictures. Have a good weekend everyone.
